how bout a round of applause....

to all nurses out dere..
everyday fighting alongside doctors, surgeons..
to save life..
at the same time putting ur life at risk as well..
esp when dealing wif deadly viruses..
a Happy Nurse's Day to all of you..
without you pple..
no one will attend to the sick..
without you pple..
no one will recover fully from wad eva illness they are suffering from..

a job that requires patience..
as u talk calmly to de patience or de family members..
a job that requires you to b focussed during your work..
as you may juz be injecting someone right now..
gettin that right vein..
is really not easy..

how pple wil shout at you..
how pple talk bad bout u..
how pple disrespect u at times..
BUT..
u take it all in your stride..

thats the amount of patience level that you acquire..
WHICH
none of that you learned in school..
what great caregiver u r..

what excellent listener u r..



reminiscing the time back when i got warded..
how u tried to calm me down..
wen u cut open the area to b operated upon..
how the blood juz flowed like the Nile River..
smooth flowing River Nile..
how u panicked wif all the gauze available to stop the bleeding..
but i remember clearly how not one
but 2 nurses talking to me
to calm me down..
wen i wasnt at all panicky..
for i can see it thru the reflection..
haha..
u mentioning how nice as a patient i was..
cant b all patients r bad..
but den again.. i beg to differ.. 


things you do..
can b seen or unseen..
is really something great..
n never once have i come across someone of ur profession
who never give advises to anyone who needs help
in de medicine world..
wad i mean..
if i get myself injured i can juz call any of my "nurse" frens
n in return they will tell me what i ought to do..
nothing asked in return..


ps: this is an entry for all nurses out dere..
my salute goes out to each n everyone of u..
de past de current de future nurses..
